Chuck Wanager’s background includes more than 30 years as a newspaper reporter-editor and performing similar duties in public relations. During that time, he won awards for feature writing and for news stories written under deadline. For the past few years, he has turned to creative writing, having written three works published by Vabella Publishing in Carrollton, Ga. – a novel, Jackson Flats, and two collections of his poetry, Taking Our Love Offline and Sixteen Windows. All except the latest book, which was published earlier this year, were nominated for the Georgia Writers Association’s Author of the Year award. In addition, his fictional memoir, Play Sgt. Pepper One More Time, was published by Solstice Publishing of Missouri. A second novel, Some Important Information About Up, is targeted for publication later this year.
